The PC game has been here for generations and is a different breed when compared with the console game. PC gamers are different and have a different taste. For example a true PC gamer would look at a final fantasy and laugh at how linear the game play is but then call any Dungeons and Dragons Campaign a real RPG. PC games are not really known for their action unless it is a first person shooter. Usually gamers of the PC genre would play Real Time Strategies aka Star Craft or MMORPG aka Everquest. A different breed of gamer but they are still gamers.
The PC is a very expensive system and each update can cost a small fortune. It is not easy being a PC gamer and now it is getting more difficult as the unique aspect of pc gaming, multiplayer through online connectivity, is now being adapted by the consoles. There is never really a great Hit on the PC when transfering a console game to a pc game because of the differences the two type of games have. When you have learned to love the PC you fall in love with a different kind of art within the gaming universe.
